Gopalapuram: On credible information, the sleuths of North Zone Task Force Team conducted raids at two different organised gambling houses under Gopalpuram and Bowenpally police station limits on Wednesday and nabbed twelve miscreants.In one instance, the Task Force nabbed four accused persons in which one gaming organiser T Avinash (34) and three Punters named O Laxman (38), G Naveen Kumar (27) and K Narsing Rao (33) and seized four mobile phones and net cash of Rs 35,660 from the possession of accused persons. As per his plan he rented a house at Gopalpuram and with the help of his friends he started inviting punters who were in habit of playing three card game by betting money and collected Rs 500 from each punter for allowing into his gaming house. The accused persons along with seized material were handed over to Gopalpuram police station. Also Read – Parts of Hyderabad witness heavy rainfall Advertise With Us In the second case, North Zone Task Force Team raided at an organized gambling house at Bowenpally and nabbed eight accused persons in which one gaming organizer M Ramu (49) and seven Punters named T Venkatesh (39), K Venkatesh (43), K Srinivas (35), V Ramesh Reddy (43), Y Jagan Mohan Rao (64), T Laxman Rao (65) and P Suresh (48) and seized Rs 15,870 and eight mobile phones from the possession of accused persons. Advertise With Us According to the officials, Ramu to maintain a luxurious life hatched a plan to organize his house as gambling house by inviting punters and collecting Rs 500 from each punter for allowing into his gaming house. Even in the past Ramu was involved in same type of case, said Bowenpally police. The arrested accused persons along with seized material were handed over to Bowenpally police.
